Things I love Thursday

So, wandering around other peoples blogs I have come to realize the following:

• My life is nowhere near as exciting as others
• My wardrobe is nowhere as pretty as others
• My favourite posts are weekly theme posts

I have also been struggling to think of things to blog about about as my life is consumed by my job, watching television shows, food & the interwebs.

And so ladies, before you die of anticipation... I bring you (in no particular order)

1. Instagram.
   
   Instagram is definitely my favourite iPhone app. Instagram has become the last thing I check before I go to sleep and the first thing I check when I wake up, a position previously held by facebook.
   
   There is so much awesomeness on Instagram and I have found so much cool Disney stuff on there like the 30 day Disney Princess challenge. OHMYGOSH!

2. Sons of Anarchy.
   
   There is no denying that I am a little late to the SOA party. The downloaded episodes were offered to me almost a year ago and at that point in time I had not heard anything about the show and said no, boy do I regret that now.
   
   I started watching Season 1 on Monday night and started Season 2 last night, I am hooked.
   
   Oh yeah, And just like everyone else, I think Jax Teller is the biggest damn babe!
   
   
   
3. Being an Aunty.
   
   I am honestly so blessed to have the most amazing collection of nieces & nephews aged between 4 months & almost 16.
   
   My brother has 2 daughters, My sister has 1 daughter & 2 sons, I also have 3 best friends who have had babies, 2 girls and 1 boy who call me Aunty.
   
   There is nothing in life that gives me as much happiness as these 8 kids, I love them all to the stars and back.
   
   
   
4. My MacBook Pro.
   
   I lusted after getting a MacBook Pro for over 4 years and was constantly 'saving' so I could buy one. I use inverted commas on the word saving because I finally bought my MacBook a week ago today and used almost my whole pay because I had not saved one dollar.
   
   I am in love. Now that I have a laptop that actually does what you want it to when you want it to I'll hopefully be around here more often keeping the tumbleweeds at bay.

Art appreciation post

New Girl Appreciation Post

So I've been trying to think of something to blog about so as I don't leave all of my readers (haha all 2 of you) hanging for too long.

I'm currently obsessed with New Girl to the extent that nine times out of ten when I start watching something else I end up just watching new girl again.

Zooey plays the part so well. I cannot pin her to being like one exact person but there are different parts of her that remind me of different friends.

My favorite TV shows are mostly the ones that are full of quotable one liners and new girl does not disappoint in this department.

I don't want to give anything away for anyone who hasn't yet watched it but make sure you do not miss it. I was hooked after the first episode.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

So it's less than 3 weeks until Christmas and I am madly counting down. I've got the tree up & I've started wrapping presents. Admittedly I'm not even half way through my shopping yet but I always do most of my shopping last minute, I also tell myself every year I'll be more organised the next year and obviously, I never am. I haven't labelled any of the presents yet as I have this really cool gift tag idea which I can't do yet (You'll see why later) so I am really counting on remembering which present is which.

I've got a lot to look forward to this month, 3 Christmas functions at work, My faux sister's 21st, Christmas eve with my 2nd family, Christmas day with my family & heading to Sydney on Boxing Day to stay with Jenn for Zooey-Belle's 1st Birthday.

Yesterday I went to my first Christmas Party which was for the Chev Club my parents are a part of. I'm still disappointed I didn't get a present from Santa but I did sit on his knee for a photo. Some people never grow up.
